The article i read was called "The Sexting Generation", which was written by Peggy OCrowley. The basics of this article that caught my eye was the punishment of the teens. One of the teens that was caught texting was ordered by the district to complete six months of counseling. The females are known more for texting than the males, in the article it states that only 18 percent of the boys say their girlfriends pushed them into it. The thing that got me most in the article was how they handle sexting in other parts of the country. "In other parts of the country, however, teens caught sexting have been charged with possession and distribution of child pornography. Some are facing years on sex offender registries, which make it impossible to continue attending school or even get a job." I think that's a big punishment for something they have to live with for the rest of their lives.
